NPC Seminar Day

Ahhh, the smell of a bar on a Saturday morning.  Stale beer and greasy food - just what I have been craving to smell.    Ick!  Well, despite the odors (not from me this time!) I am glad I went.  It was good to get caught up on show date changes, judging criteria and going over their mandatory poses (both for bodybuilding and figure).  Plus, I could scope out potential competition.  I think I was the 2nd to oldest competitor there.   For the NPC, anyone who is over 35 is considered to be in the "Masters" category.  - Kind of like golf.

Christine also went over some diet planning as well.  Things I have done in the past and most fascinating, things she had done that worked and things that did not for her.  (She competed in the Ms. Olympia).  So, there you have it.  No matter how may times you compete, you will constantly evolve until you get it right.  I believe she mentioned that it took her quite a while to figure out what was the best method for her and from that point until she stopped competing it was only several years she put it to use.  But, she did well off it.

I am thankful that it was my day off.  I got a chance to sleep in a little bit and spend time with the fam.     Oh!  And I just got an e-mail that my one piece suit has been shipped today.  I am so excited to see it!
